XBOX360, PS3, PC : F.E.A.R. 2 HITS SHELVES

Monolith's highly anticipated sequel has begun shipping to North American stores today, and will be available for purchase on steam and Direct-to-drive download service some time this week.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, published my Warner Bros. Interactive and developed my Monolith productions, will be available for Xbox360, Playstation 3, and PC. The PC version will be found bearing the Games For Windows logo.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a first person shooter, and a supernatural suspense story with less than subtle horror undertones. The F.E.A.R. 2 story picks up about 30 minutes before the end of the original F.E.A.R., but from the perspective of a Delta Force operator who's squad is sent to arrest one of the games lesser known character, Genevieve Aristide.

The previous game was touted for it's excellent AI, and fans of the game are looking forward to the more dynamic and formidable AI opponent that is said to accompany the sequel. Whether it is the slo-mo combat or the innovative weaponry that had you playing the original, F.E.A.R. is back with improved terror and smarter baddies.
