April: Flavor of the month: PSP or DSi PART 2

It has been quite a show here tonight folks! Mr. DSi has stepped up and really shown that he is a veteran of the sport! Mr. PSP is more than putting on a great show for the fans, and is eagerly looking to step back into the ring. This is quite a spectacle of brawn! Now without further ado, may the latter half of tonights show begin!

Well we have inspected the hardware and now that we are clear on the contenders stats, we can start checking out the games. Both systems have many great titles in store this year, so we will take a peek at the top 3 most anticipated games by us at Over 9000. Lets kick it off with the PSP. Enjoy!

Resistance : Retribution
Out NOW!



This game's story falls somewhere between Resistance and Resistance 2 for the PS3. A sound use of narrative compliments the dark feel of the game. The future looks bleak, but the textures look amazing. Bad ass guns and killer aliens, with a great use of control mechanics. This is the shooter your PSP has been looking for. A must have for fans of the series.

Patapon 2
Early May '09



This semi-psychedelic rhythm based, side scroller is the follow up to it's well received predeccesor. Patapon's excellent combination of gameplay mechanics and funky art style have many people clamoring for this new title.

Final Fantasy Dissidia
Late Aug '09





Besides looking bad ass, and flying around fighting, this FF title puts a twist on your FF worlds(as if that hasn't happened before). Strategy styled gameplay is broken up by excellent looking aerial combat, Final Fantasy Dissidia will be featuring a huge array of FF characters from past titles.
